Week 8 Comments and Feedback

Feedback In:
So far this semester, I feel that all the comments I have received have been incredibly helpful.  Everyone is good about not only discussing the parts that they like about my stories, but also what can be improved.  My classmates are great about being respectful when they offer suggestions or corrections.

Feedback Out:
I think that I try to balance my comments each time I offer them.  I always try to point out at least one big positive part about their work and then offer suggestions on how to improve, without being rude or mean about it.  Reading other people's work and noticing little things that might work for them better have given me some ideas on how to improve my own work.

Blog Comments:
I love the blog comments we do each week.  It is so nice to get to read the "About Me" pages on my classmates and get a sense of who we all are.  I also really like to look around at their other posts and see ideas for reading notes and how they use the extra credit options.

Looking Forward:
Going forward with the course, I am going to try to offer more concrete ideas in my comments, because sometimes I give more vague responses and I want to be as helpful as I can.
